Books We Didn’t Finish

Hey everyone! Thanks for sticking with us as we have been struggling lately to come up with some good content because life is a little bit busy at the moment. UGH, but what can you do?

Anyway life getting in the way and not being able to complete things or do things that we want to do got us thinking about all the books we have never finished—the ones where something else just got in the way and we had to DNF them. We know, its a tragedy when all your hours spent toward a book go to waste because for some reason YOU JUST CAN’T GET YOURSELF TO PICK IT UP AGAIN. You guys know what we’re talking about. The books with the slow middles. The ones that everyone loves but for some reason you just can’t get into it. The ones that get put to the wayside when something bigger and better comes out. The books that just … don’t … cut it, for whatever reason.

Well, here is a list of the books that we have not been able to finish. Maybe you guys can relate. Let us know in the comments if you guys have read any of these books and if you think we should give them another try! Also tell us which books you’ve had to DNF in the past, maybe they’re something we have read and loved and we can persuade you to pick them up again. Who knows!?

So, without further ado, the DNF list:

Fated by Alyson Noel

Auracle by Gina Rosati

Delirium by Lauren Oliver

On the Road by Jack Kerouac

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides

Girl Overboard by Justina Chen

We’re sure there are probably more books that we could add to this list, but obviously, because we never finished them, we can’t remember what they are! Once again, let us know which books you’ve had trouble finishing and also tell us if there are any on our list that you think we should give another go!
