4 Bookstores We NEED to Visit

Hey guys, so we have been itching to go to the bookstore recently, but for some reason we just have not been able to make time for it 😦

We know, its a sad day in life when you can’t seem to make time to visit your local indie, B&N or even Target for goodness sake, but what can you do?

With that being said, or longing to visit a bookstore has, naturally, been growing exponentially in the past couple of weeks. So, this has gotten us to thinking of all the Bookstores we would LOVE to visit. And by “love” we mean, if we could make a portal, or apparate, or do some type of magicy-who-knows-what with the time-space continuum so we could transport ourselves anywhere on earth, we would want, no NEED, to visit these bookstores RIGHT NOW.

So, here is a list of 4 bookstores we NEED to visit!

Shakespeare and Company—Paris, France

It’s just so beautiful…

The Clifden Bookshop—Clifden, Ireland

We actually have been here once before on our study abroad trip to Ireland, and it was one of our favorite places. It is just so quaint, cute, and cozy. Not to mention the selection was AWESOME!

Strand Bookstore—New York City, USA

We’ve never been to New York City so, of course, this would be at the top of our list of things to do… (right after seeing Hamilton though…duh)

Powell’s Books—Portland, USA

We’ve actually been here before as well, but we would love to go again. Portland is one of our favorite cities, and this bookstore is unlike any we have ever been in before. IT…IS…HUGE (but that just means all the more books to browse!)

Like, don’t these look awesome?! If you could visit only one of these bookstores, which one would you choose? Have you been to any of these bookshops? If you could add any other stores to this list, what would they be? Let us know in the comments!

  1. So many cool bookstores! I actually found this post online that listed the best bookstores for each state in the U.S. and it was amazingggg. I found the one for my state and it’s actually really close to where I live and I’m DYING to go there. My friends have and it’s like their favorite place lol.
