July Wrap Up

July was a busy month. We went on vacation. We worked. We read. Though not nearly as much as we liked. Therefore, this post is a little bit of a wrap up + a currently reading as we haven’t finished all that many books this month. Let’s get to it!

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

4/5 Stars

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

5/5 Stars

Currently Reading (and hoping to finish by the end of July…maybe?…hopefully?)

The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh

11.22.63 by Stephen King

I felt like I bit off a bit more than I could chew with 11.22.63. It’s just so big it is taking me a while, but it is very good and incredibly intriguing!! It is also the first Stephen King book I have ever read and, so far, I am thinking I made a good choice with this one. Meg loved the Wrath and the Dawn and re-read it this month so she could finally get to The Rose and the Dagger and she is loving it. Did you guys get a lot of reading done this month? Did you read an author that is entirely new to you like I did with Stephen King? Or, maybe you read an old favorite like Meg? Let us know in the comments!

    1. YAY that makes us so happy to hear! We have always loved The Wrath and the Dawn, and thus always wanted to give Flame in the Mist a try. Now you have definitely sealed the deal for us with your glowing words about it! We will be picking that up ASAP to say the least!

      Thank you 🙂

    1. YESSSSS you do! The main character is awesome she is like the best Victorian feminist EVER. Literally so many quotes from her where we just related so much. LOVED her.

Meaty is definitely a good description, but we are definitely enjoying this one so far and would totally recommend! Especially if you are a Stephen King fan and enjoy time travel stories (which we definitely do)!

Thank you so much! We hope you have a wonderful August as well 🙂
