August TBR

It is the beginning of the month and we know you all are wondering “What books are Meg and Leah hoping to tackle this month?”, well here we are to answer your lingering question. Let’s check out what we are hoping to read in August…

Passion by Lauren Kate

We know that this book has been in a great number of our TBR’s in recent months, but we still just haven’t gotten to it yet. Hopefully, August will be its lucky charm!

Words in Deep Blue by Cath Crowley

We’ve been hearing so many good things about this book. It sounds like it will probably be a perfect contemporary read!

Once and For All by Sarah Dessen

Summer isn’t summer until you’ve read a Sarah Dessen book, right?

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

This sounds like it might quite possibly be the cutest book since Fangirl. We can’t wait to crack it open!

The ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas

One twin has read them, another has yet to finish. Got to finish the series to see what all the fuss is about!

What are you all hoping to read this month???

      1. Oh no! It’s like the wait between all of the the Throne of Glass books! It is torture! And I forget everything by the time the next book comes out. I have just taken to reading like the first two in a series and then waiting to read the rest until the final book comes out. It’s worked pretty well for me. (except when it comes to spoilers haha)

  1. I should try to get to Passion this month! It is such a great book! I really enjoyed it! It has been years since I last read it, but I believe it was my favorite one in the series next to Rapture!

    1. YESSSS! That is what I keep telling Leah. I have already read and finished the Fallen series, and I always tell her how Passion and Rapture were my favorites. Honestly, I think Lauren Kate did an amazing job ending that series with Rapture. I thought it was the perfect conclusion!

  2. What a list of books! I’ve read Passions before and I like it. I’m curious what you think of the first book in A Court of Thrones and Roses series. I have been debating reading this book/starting the series but I’m still on the fence. I recently just bought a ton of books and am hoping to get two of them read this month. Now which one… that’s going to be hard to decide. haha! Happy Reading 🙂

    1. Leah has finished the entire ACOTAR series and I have read ACOTAR once already before and I LOVED IT! It can be a slow start for a lot of people but I have always been a sucker for Fantasy that takes a long time to get going. Don’t know why. I just really like being in the world without much conflict for a while you know? SO, we would definitely recommend. Hahah good luck with making your decision! It’s always a hard one deciding what to read next (especially when you have just bought a bunch of books that you are probably super excited to read!) Good luck 🙂
