The Epic Birthday Blog Tag

So, this is a little late, and we were tagged quite a while ago by icebreaker694 to do The Epic Birthday Blog Tag, but we figured our birthday was actually coming up, so we might as well wait until then. Then, OF COURSE, our birthday came and went in all of the birthday excitement and chaos and only now are we coming up for air and posting this tag. Just a COUPLE days after our birthday! Oh the horror haha JK we know you guys understand!

Anyways, like we said earlier we were tagged by the awesome icebreaker694 who also created this brilliant, bookish, birthday blogging tag! Now thats a lot of Bs! But on with the Birthday blast, books and biographical questions!

When’s your birthday (month + day)?

August 10.

What’s your Zodiac sign?

Leo. It DOES NOT suit us at all.

What’s your birthstone?

Peridot. It’s green (my favorite color, BONUS FACT) and shiny and sparkly and awesome—among many other things.

Do you know someone with the same birthday?

Uhh, duh, that’s pretty obvious … EACH OTHER!

What historical event occurred on your birthday?

Apparently like every battle ever, see here. Guess, August is a good month for fighting? Not too cold? Soft, grassy ground to fall on? Nice blue sky? Really what are good fighting conditions? Heck if we know!

But, in all seriousness some pretty cool things happened too. Like in 1793 the Louvre palace officially opened in Paris as The Museum Central des Arts and in 1846 US Act of Congress passed, establishing the Smithsonian Institution, which is now apparently the world’s largest museum and research complex! That’s pretty sweet if you ask me.

What do you usually do to celebrate your birthday?

Sleep. Maybe go to the bookstore. Not really anything in particular, to be honest!

Were you born in the morning, afternoon or night?

Morning! Maybe thats why we’re morning people! We can only ever get things done in the morning … but wait … I’m writing this in the afternoon …

If you could have any present in the world, what present would it be?

Uhhh, this is a book blog. We give you three guesses and the first two don’t count. *whispers* “books, of course!”

How did you get your name?

Our mom wanted to name me Margaret and call me Meg, but our dad fought for just Meg (thanks Dad, I owe you on that one). And Leah, hmmmm, not really sure where our parents got that idea … oh right that little book known as the Bible, you’ve probably never heard of it.

Have you ever forgotten your birthday?

Forget! How could we forget the most important day of the year!?
