About

Me and MegOne day, twenty-two years ago, the world would never be the same again. At least, that’s what we like to tell ourselves.  In reality, this day probably was not that monumental. What day are we talking about? Well, our birthday of course!

Twin sisters from Michigan, we have spent our entire lives together. Reading, writing, fangirling (is that a verb?)– we have done everything together, eternally at each other’s side. Inseparable since the day of our birth, we, Meg and Leah Bruce that is, have been celebrating each other, and our interests together. But now, we want to share those same interests with you!

It all started with that first bright yellow Nancy Drew novel; that was all it took for our love of reading to quickly spiral out of control. From the days and days of reading The Hunger Games (not because it took days to read, but because we actually read it multiple times in a row– three times to be exact) to the hours of watching our favorite Book-tubers on YouTube to find the next big book craze, we have never stopped loving books and everything that they bring into this world. This love of reading, and the happiness it has brought us, is no longer something we can keep to ourselves.

Now we are students at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and we are, of course, studying publishing! During our pursuit to better understand the world that has brought us so much happiness and so many hours curled up in whatever cozy corner we could find, experiencing a different world, we hope to continue reading, and appreciating the books and the lessons they teach us through this blog. Welcome! Stay a while. Read a post. Read a book (actually, read more than “a” book)! We hope that we can enthrall you in the same stories that we have so loved ourselves!

  1. Wow, okay your blog is amazing for a lot of reasons: For one, you’re blogging twins (I wish my sister enjoyed to read as much as the two of you, haha) Secondly you have a Youtube channel, which is totally amazing because I can only imagine how hard it is to juggle book blogging and vlogging. So all in all, nice work ladies, talk to you later!

    1. Oh my gosh that is so nice to say! We found your blog just recently and love it too! Yes it is definitely nice having a partner in crime who loves reading just as much! Yes, the YouTube is kind of on hiatus right now haha. It’s definitely a lot of work, but we hope to get it started again this summer when school hopefully cools down! Thank you so much again for your nice comment!
